Apollo was unable to find their footing, committing 14 fouls as they fell to Butler County 61-33 in their home opener. For the Lady Bears Ava Wilson recorded a game-high 21 points, while Ann Marie Skaggs added 16.
Aubrey Johnson led the E-Gals in scoring with 15 points, while LaShay Vera and Mattingly Taylor rounded out Apollo’s scoring with 11 points and seven points respectively. Next up for Apollo, they host rival Owensboro on Friday at 5:30.
