Aubrey Randolph had a monster game for us tonight as well. If she plays with that kind of confidence, that will be one tough player for people to guard.”
Allen County-Scottsville 74, Trinity 47
A rough first half full of rushed shots and turnovers doomed the Lady Raiders, falling to Allen County-Scottsville 74-47. Ella Morris led Trinity in scoring with 14 points including two threes. Sophie Hatfield added 13 points, while Preslee Meserve and Sarah Payne recorded 10 points each.
“We made some adjustments at half time and the girls responded and played together in the second half,” Trinity head coach Emily Hernandez said. “We took care of the ball better, took better shots, and played better defense. The first half wasn’t the way we wanted to start, but we worked hard to get better in the second half.”
