The Panthers wrestling program made some noise while competing at the Harrison County Tournament this weekend. Kaden Nichols finished second at 150 after going 3-1. Wrestling at 126 and 132, Jackson Stoner (3-1) and Aiden Ranburger (4-1) finished third in their weight classes. Jah Patterson and Parker Lowry went 3-2 at 120 and 144 respectively.
“I think we’re progressing every time we compete and that is evident,” Daviess County head coach Colton Gonzalez said. “We’re improving slowly and steadily which I am happy with. The teams that we wrestle recognize the difference from week to week and know that when they wrestle us, it’s going to be a dog fight. We still are not where we want to be, but it’s the small habits and the day-to-day grind that we improve on.”
