In the coming days, Brescia University is hosting their first of two summer basketball camps, hosted by head coach Matt Karn, his coaching staff, current players, and former professional player Corey Wilford.

“The main thing is they haven’t had a camp at Brescia in a long time, and we want to get more people into the facility and gym so they can see what it is like,” Karn said. “We want to get the community involved and get kids better at the game by being coached by college-level players and coaches, and a former professional player I played with in Corey Wilford.”

The camp will be split into two groups, second through eighth graders in the morning and high schoolers in the afternoon, with the first session set for June 23-26 at Moore Center Gym on 717 Frederica Street. The second session is set for July 21-24. For those interested, they can email Coach Karn at [email protected].
