The Go Junior Golf Series is underway with their most recent match taking place yesterday. In the Boys 3-Hole Division, Owensboro’s Easton Fogle edged out Madisonville’s J.P. Cousins. Both shot 15, but Fogle won the tiebreaker. On the girls’ side, Dixon’s Savannah Hudson shot 18 to win, narrowly beating Madisonville’s Riley Peton (19).
In the 6-Hole Division, Scott Ralston beat Hartford’s Greyson Phillips to win the boys’ 9-10, while Adley Cox won for the girls. In the 9-hole divisions, Clarkson’s Brinley Cox (48, girls 11-12), Central City’s Matthew Harper (40, boys 11-12) Madisonville’s Greta Duncan (65, girls 13-15), and Owensboro’s Paxton Divine (42, boys’ 13-15) all won.
In the 18-Hole Division, Clarkson’s Ellington Cox and Henderson Cox’s Mason Ranes shot 86 and 81 to win the girls’ and boys’ 13-15 Championship. For Ranes, this was his third straight Series win. For the 16-18 Championships, Owensboro’s Cy Tudor shot 72 to win on the boys’ side, while Madisonville’s Emma Duncan shot 109 to win on the girls’ end.
