Barrett Evans and Hayden Fisher combined for three hits and eight RBIs to power the Owensboro Post 9 Bombers to a 13-1 win over Alton Post 126 Sr Legion. Fisher put the Bombers on the board in the top of the first after driving in a run on a fielding error. In the top of the third, Jagger Pate stole home to make it 2-0, and later in the same inning, Fisher walked to score Brody Brubaker.
Leading 4-1 entering the fifth, the Bombers scored six runs, before adding three more in the top of the six to put the game away. Reed Sherrard threw a complete game on the mound, allowing one run over six innings, striking out eight.
