A collision between a semi-truck and a train has left several Owensboro intersections blocked, according to a statement from the Owensboro Police Department.
OPD said the crash occurred Monday morning and that no injuries were reported. The train came to a stop following the incident and is currently blocking the 1100 blocks of Locust Street, Cedar Street, and Walnut Street, as well as the 900 block of West 9th Street.
According to the statement, officers are on scene working the collision and are asking motorists to avoid the area, as the intersections are currently impassable.
