Daviess County boys bowling competes in Early Season Region 1 Tournament

Traveling to Graves County over the weekend, the Daviess County boys’ bowling team competed in Early Season Region 1 Tournament. After shooting 3,424 across 12 games and six baker gamers, the Panthers advanced to the bracket stage as the fourth seed.

They lost to top-seeded McCracken County, but freshman Lucas Tincher won the Tournament as an individual, shooting 224, 203, and 225. Kason Smith (9th, 204), Evan Onstott (14th, 200), Jaxson Unsel (20th, 204), and Milan Ferguson (208) also all had impressive performances for the Panthers.

Daviess County sent two teams to the tournament. Their B-team finished 12th, shooting 2,731 after 12 games and 6 bakers shooting 2,731. Angel Martinez Ortiz led the way, rolling a game-high 193.
