The Green River Area Development District is offering free help to Medicare beneficiaries during the Part D Open Enrollment period, which runs through Dec. 7.
GRADD is now scheduling appointments for certified SHIP counselors to review and compare prescription drug plans for 2026.
Open Enrollment allows Medicare participants to change their stand-alone prescription drug coverage to ensure their medications are covered at the lowest possible cost. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis by calling the Aging & Disability Resource Center at 1-800-928-9094.
“GRADD SHIP counselors are here to help,” said Abigail Newmeyer, ADRC/SHIP Coordinator. “We provide unbiased Medicare information, offer free Part D plan comparisons during Open Enrollment, and assist with any Medicare questions you may have.”
Those attending an appointment should bring their Medicare card, a current list of medications, an active email address, and a cell phone.
