The Lady Raiders won the KCAC Girls Basketball Tournament, while Owensboro Catholic fell on the road.

Sioux Falls, SD 75 Owensboro Catholic 67

Playing in their third game in three days, Owensboro Catholic fell just short to Sioux Falls 75-67. Taylor Mannahan led all scorers with 30 points, hitting four threes. Lyla Martin hit three threes to go along with her 17 points and Claudia was third on the team in scoring with nine points.

Lady Raiders win KCAC Girls Basketball Tournament

After going 2-0 on the first night, the Lady Raiders were able to continue their momentum, winning the KCAC Girls Basketball Tournament. In their 64-61 win over Portland Christian, Olivia Starks scored all 10 of her points in the first half and Ella Morris added 13 points. Against Cornerstone Christian, they won 60-38 behind Preslee Meserve and Ry’Lynne Meserve combing for 30 points.

“I am very proud of all of our players,” Trinity (Whitesville) Head Coach Emily Hernandez said. “This was a great effort by all. Preslee Meserve was named to the All-Tournament team, and Ry’Lynne Meserve was named MVP of the Tournament.”
