Glenn Funeral Home will host its 14th annual “Glenn’s Give and Go” toy drive on Wednesday, Dec. 3, with donations benefiting Toys for Tots and V.E.T.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Glenn Funeral Home parking lot. Community members are invited to drive through and drop off new, unwrapped toys. Attendants will collect the donations directly from vehicles, allowing participants to give without getting out of their cars.
Those unable to attend on Dec. 3 can still support the cause by bringing toys to Glenn Funeral Home during regular business hours through Dec. 10.
Organizers say the goal is to show children in need that they are not forgotten during the holiday season.
“The gift of a shiny new toy, something most children take for granted, shows a needy child that someone they’ve never even met cares about them,” the release said.
All donations will support local efforts to make the holidays brighter for families in the community.
