Leading Daviess County 3-1 and an 85-point lead on total pins, Apollo dropped both baker matches, but narrowly held on for the win by nine pins. Connor Thomas (243, 205) led the way, while Sophie O’Bryan (224), Kaden Brown (205, 214), and Gracie Brown (236) all had standout performances.
For the Panthers, this was the varsity boys’ teams first loss of the season. Jaxson Unsel (207), Evan Onstott (204), Kason Smith (216), Brandon Hall (213), and Justin Case (clean 211) all led the way.
