The Lady Panthers beat Graves County, while Owensboro fell to Meade County.
Daviess County 46, Graves County 36
Kennedy Lane led the way with a game-high 19 points, three rebounds, and one steal as the Lady Panthers beat Graves County 46-36. Molly Hancock added 10 points, three rebounds, and one steal, and Riley Hayden finished with nine points and eight rebounds.
“It was a hard-fought game against a well-coached Graves County team,” Daviess County Head Coach Natalie Payne said. “I was really proud of our defensive effort. Anytime you can hold a team in the 30’s, you are doing something right. We also did a good job on the boards.”
Meade County 60, Owensboro 51
Abby Sapp scored 11 of her team-high 21 points in the second half as the Lady Devils fell to Meade County 60-51. Adrean Carothers hit a pair of threes to go along with her 16 points, and Unique Carter-Swanagan had six points.
