Owensboro Community & Technical College will hold a registration event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday at its Campus Center.

During the event, many students will be able to apply and register the same day. The Financial Aid Office, Accessibility Services, and the OCTC Bookstore will also be open. Spring classes begin on Jan. 12.

“It really isn’t too late to get started this semester,” said Dr. Ashleigh Crowe, vice president of student affairs. “Our staff will be here and ready to help students through the process.”

Registration remains open through Jan. 14. Students may apply online at owensboro.kctcs.edu by selecting “Apply,” or in person at the START Center on the upper level of the Campus Center at 4800 New Hartford Road. The START Center is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

OCTC will also host Pathfinder Day on Jan. 9, an orientation program for new and returning students. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Industry Innovation Center. Students can locate classrooms, visit a resource fair, and obtain a student ID.

“We hope students will take advantage of this opportunity to learn their way around campus and get to meet some of their peers,” Crowe said.
