A free paper shredding event will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Owensboro Sportscenter parking lot.
Piranha Mobile Shredding will be on-site at 1215 Hickman Avenue to safely dispose of sensitive documents. Items accepted include bank and credit card statements, pay stubs, legal documents, tax forms, and similar materials. Newspapers, magazines, and junk mail will not be accepted.
Each vehicle may bring up to 100 pounds of paper. The event will end once shredding trucks are full.
The shredding service is open at no charge to all Daviess County residents, businesses, and institutions.
