The Daviess County Emergency Management Agency has released shelter information ahead of potential severe weather expected this evening.
Three locations have been designated, with varying opening times and policies:
Owensboro Christian Church
2818 New Hartford Road (Entrance A)
Opens at 10 p.m. until the storm threat passes
No pets allowed
Metro Pentecostal Church
6500 US 231, Utica (enter through the downstairs parking lot entrance)
Opens at 9 p.m. until the storm threat passes
Pets allowed in kennels, cages, or carriers
Yellow Creek Baptist Church
5741 KY 144
Will open if a Tornado Warning is issued
No pets allowed
