Brescia University has announced a partnership agreement with Oakland City University aimed at helping undergraduate students affected by OCU’s decision to suspend undergraduate programs for the 2026-27 academic year.
Under the agreement, Brescia will accept all successfully completed academic credits from OCU transfer students and provide financial aid assistance intended to help make degree completion more affordable.
Because both schools compete in the NAIA, Brescia officials said student-athletes will also have the opportunity to continue competing while completing their degrees.
“We are here to support OCU students during this transition and provide a clear, affordable pathway to completing their education,” said Melanie Brooks, Brescia’s Vice President of Advancement.
The agreement became effective May 20, 2026.
Students interested in transferring can contact Brescia at [email protected] or 270-686-4241 for more information. University officials said information sessions will be scheduled in the near future.
