The GO Junior Golf Series held its most recent tournament at Ben Hawes on Thursday.
In the 3-hole division, Owensboro’s Hawk Roberts (12) and Slaughter’s Stella Johnson (15) won for the boys and girls 8-under age group, while in the 6-hole division, Owensboro’s Jaxson Crook (28) and Clarkson’s Adle Cox (35) won for the boys and girls 9-10 age group.
In the 9-hole division, Madisonville’s Scott Ralston (33) and Hardinsburg’s Vivian Henning (47) won for the boys and girls 11-12 age group, while in the boys’ 13-5 age group, Sturgis’s Jack White beat Beaver Dam’s Jaymeson Phillips in a playoff. Ava Settles shot a 57 to become the girls’ winner.
In the 18-hole division, Philpot’s Mason Shivley (81) won the 13-15 boys’ championship, while Owensboro’s Ayla Roberts (87) won the girls’ 13-15 championship. Owensboro’s Vince Hayden beat fellow Owensboro native Triston Logsdon in a playoff to win the boys 16-18 championship, while Hazael’s Bailee Lucas (79) won the girls 16-18 championship.
