A portion of KY 56 is temporarily closed after a utility pole snapped during a storm and is hanging over the roadway.
According to Daviess County Sheriff Brad Youngman, DCSO received a call at 6:44 p.m. that the storm had completely broken a utility pole in the 5600 block of KY 56 near Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. The pole and electrical lines are hanging across both lanes.
The road is closed until the utility company can make repairs.
