Rusty Burton, a financial advisor with Edward Jones, has been named one of Kentucky’s 2026 Best-in-State Wealth Advisors by Forbes/SHOOK Research, marking the fourth consecutive year he has received the recognition.
The annual ranking recognizes financial advisors based on factors including industry experience, best practices, compliance records and assets under management. SHOOK Research analysts also conducted individual interviews with nominees as part of the selection process, according to Edward Jones.
“I am honored to receive this recognition,” Burton said. “My priority is to be a trusted, hands-on resource for clients as they make important financial decisions.”
According to the release, the Forbes/SHOOK methodology evaluates advisors using qualitative and quantitative criteria, including interviews, revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and client retention. The rankings are not based on investment performance or client feedback.
Edward Jones said Burton’s recognition places him among the top wealth advisors in Kentucky for 2026.
