Experience matters.

I support Larry Conder for County Commissioner.  It has been my pleasure over the years to get to know Larry in our involvement as members of the Riverport Board and other projects throughout Daviess County.

Larry was raised with the strong work ethic required of farming families. His parents, Charles and Zula, were from the Whitesville and Knottsville areas. Larry grew up helping in the tobacco fields, hauling in hay, and working the land as his family had done for generations. His parents always encouraged him to work equally hard to gain as much education as he could to make the best life possible for his future.

Larry was blessed with a successful natural gas marketing business. He and his wife, Rosemary, prayerfully decided to invest in the future of Daviess County by helping to revitalize properties with more than $11 million dollars of personal funds over the last several years. Larry put his money to use for the good of our community. He chose to keep his business here, when even today he could work and live elsewhere. Larry is knowledgeable about city and county budgets and the need for safety, jobs, and growth. This bold leadership has been proven time and time again by Larry’s actions serving the public in office, on several local boards, and by sharing his time, talents, and treasure with as many people as possible. I am confident he will do it again for the people of Daviess County as our County Commissioner.

I respectfully ask each person to vote for Larry Conder on May 12, 13, 14 (early voting) and on May 17. He is a good man that will have an independent voice to do the right thing for the right reason.
