“ . . . nothing in this Constitution shall be construed to secure or protect a right to abortion . . . “

Kentucky Amendment 2 (KyA2) is not Republican vs. Democrat.

KyA2 is not about “saving babies.”

KyA2, if passed, would be an unforgivable human rights violation stripping away right to bodily autonomy, right to family privacy, and basic human rights to essential medical care from millions of Kentucky women, girls, and their families.

KyA2, if passed, is a proposed total ban on ALL abortions in Kentucky. NO exceptions.

KyA2, if passed, would deny access to CRITICAL medical services to women and girls. Miscarriage is “spontaneous abortion.” Removal of ectopic pregnancy, removal of remains after amniotic tissue rupture before viability, removal of a fetus causing septic conditions, removal of excess fertilized eggs during in vitro fertilization, removal of a fetus so the mother can receive cancer treatments, and other emergency maternal medical situations are “abortion.” Women will DIE if essential medical services are not available close to home.

KyA2, if passed, would deny abortion to human trafficing, rape and incest victims, many of them too young for their little bodies to carry a pregnancy.

Citizens who vote “yes” on KyA2 empower the government to take away a woman’s right to bodily autonomy and her right to determine her own healthcare.

A government empowered to force pregnancy is empowered to force abortion.

TRUST Women and RESPECT healthcare professionals: Vote NO on Amendment 2.
