A traffic accident occurred Wednesday in the 3100 block of KY 54 at 6 p.m. Natalie N. Taylor, 17, of the 1000 block of Lakeside Crossing and Glendle W. Cain, 26, of the 3000 block of Silks Cove were driving the wreck. Taylor was injured in the accident and transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment.
A first-degree criminal mischief was reported Wednesday in the 1200 block of E. 6th St.
A theft by unlawful taking (theft of an automobile) $10,000 or more and under $1,000,000 was reported Tuesday in the 600 block of Dalton St. A 2016 Ford Fusion was reported stolen at an estimated value of $14,000.
A first-degree sexual abuse was reported Wednesday in the 1200 block of Carter Rd.
A second-degree burglary was reported Wednesday in the 1200 block of E. Byers Ave. A toilet seat cover was reported stolen at an estimated value of $7.
In the 1100 block of Frederica St. on Wednesday, a theft by failure to make required disposition of property $10,000 or more was reported. A rental car was not returned, and was reported to be worth $48,000.
A theft by unlawful taking (theft of an automobile) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported Wednesday in the 1200 block of W. 6th St. A 2013 Nissan Juke was reported stolen at an estimated value of $6,000.
