A traffic accident occurred Thursday at 5:19 p.m. at the corner of Frederica St. and W. Parrish Ave. Billie Tucker, 44, of the 7000 block of Hwy. 56 and Kitty A. Miller, 43, of the 200 block of 5th St. were driving in the accident. Tucker and Miller’s passenger, Mary DeWitt, 62, of the 200 block of 5th St. were injured in the wreck and transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries.

In the 1500 block of Miller Ct. on Thursday, a theft by unlawful taking (theft of an automobile) $500 or more and under $10,000 was reported. A 2011 Ford Escape was reported stolen at an estimated value of $7,000.

A first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument was reported Thursday in the 2800 block of W. Parrish Ave. A counterfeit $100 bill was reported to authorities.

In the 1500 block of Roosevelt Rd. on Thursday, a theft of mail matter was reported. A 5-pound parcel containing hygiene products was reported stolen at a value of $15.

A theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting) was reported Thursday in the 2600 block of Frederica St. Various food items and groceries were reported stolen at an estimated value of $583.97.

A criminal possession of a forged instrument and possession of drug paraphernalia were reported Friday in the 4500 block of Frederica St. Two counterfeit $20 bills were reported to authorities.

A theft of ID without consent was reported Friday in the 1000 block of Frederica St. A Kentucky Identification card was reported stolen.
