The Owensboro boys took down Daviess County, while the girls’ teams had the opposite results at the Owensboro Tennis Complex.
Owensboro boys’ singles winners were Dylan Mather (def. Dylan McDuffee), Will Clark (def. Camden Cook), AJ Iracane (def. Ryota Takahashi), Mitchell Douglas (def. Andy Peeples) and Grayson McFarland (def. Luke McLelland). Daviess County’s singles win came from George Hulse (def. Paul Iracane).
The Red Devils also got a doubles victory from Mather/Clark (def. McDuffee/Clark), while the Panthers got wins from Hulse/Graham Sandefur (def. AJ Iracane/McFarland) and Takahashi/Peeples (def. Isaac Nalley/Clayton Rhoads).
For the girls, Daviess County got singles wins from Charly Hayden (def. Emma Embry), Ashton Payne (def. Olivia Miller), Kinsley Phelps (def. Lily Hofstrom) and Kloee Phelps (def. Ra Se Da Be). Owensboro’s winners were Layne Draegar (def. Reagan Watkins) and Paige Castlen (def. Emily Hancock).
Doubles winners for the Lady Panthers were Hayden/Hancock (def. Castlen/Embry) and Phelps/Phelps (def. Hofstrom/Ra Se Da Be). The Lady Devils got a win from Olivia Miller/Draegar (def. Payne/Watkins).

While the girls swept their matches at Moreland Park, the Aces failed to pick up a win. The girls got singles victories from Sarah Kate Young, Emmy Moore, Reagan Fulkerson, Ella Grace Buckman, Rachel Traylor and Maddie Hayden. Doubles winners were Sarah Englert/Ashley Fulkerson, Alyssa Gatten/Olivia Hayden and Katie Riney/Elizabeth Hayden.
Apollo 9, Cloverport 0 (girls)
Apollo 5, Cloverport 0 (boys)
The E-Gals made easy work of Cloverport on the road, dropping only eight total sets on the day. Singles winners were Mia Lampert, Madalyn Hyland, Natalie Estes and Caroline Ashby, and doubles victories came from Caitlyn Blandford/Hyland and Lauren Clements/Lynzy Schwartz. Other wins came by default.
For the boys, Ryan Ash/Michael Chapman won their doubles match and the rest came by forfeit.
