The Apollo tennis teams swept a match at Moreland Park against Muhlenberg County, with the girls taking an easy win and the boys pulling out a narrow victory.
For the girls, singles victors were Macy Dame, Mia Lampert, Madalyn Hyland, Caitlyn Blandford, Lauren Clements and Brooklyn Knight. Doubles wins came from Blandford/Madalyn Hyland, Clements/Lynzy Schwartz and Gracie Cart/Anna Hyland.
For the boys, singles winners were Ryan Ash, Michael Chapman, Chris Cox and Nick Shannon. A doubles victory came from Stephen Austin/Cox.
Meade County 3, Owensboro 2
The Red Devils took a narrow loss to the Eagles at the Owensboro Tennis Complex. The lone wins came from Dylan Mather and Mitchell Douglas in singles play.
