The Owensboro USTA 4.0 team won the Kentucky State Tennis Championship in Henderson on Sunday.
As the state champions, the team will advance to the Southern Tennis Sectionals, which will be held Sept. 13-15 in Asheville, N.C..
Owensboro’s team members include Jan Hahn, Becky Mitchell, Amy Hunt, Kathy Blackford, Linda Knight, Mary Jochim, Sonja Kafer, Brenda Clayton, Janie Bean, Anna Greene, Chris Clements and Janie Walther.
