Nearly 100 youth golfers will be in action today at Ben Hawes Golf Course as part of the Worth Insurance Group/Chick-Fil-A GO Junior Golf Series.

The tournament at Ben Hawes has long been one of the most crowded fields in the summer youth golf series.

“Ben Hawes has traditionally been one of the best attended events in the GO Series,” said series director Mark Price. “(Our number of golfers) normally runs in the high 60s to mid-70s. But this year, we are in the mid-90s. Our all-time high was around 10 years ago when we had 108 golfers, and that was at Ben Hawes also.”

A total of 32 locals make up the 94 golfers who will be competing. Tee times begin at 8:20 a.m.

Full results will be available at the completion of all rounds.
