Several area youth golfers finished near the top of the leaderboards Monday at Windridge Country Club as part of the Worth Insurance Group/Chick-Fil-A Greater Owensboro Junior Golf Series.
It’s the fourth Junior Golf event of the summer, though it’s the first so far to be held in Owensboro. A total of 62 golfers participated on the par-68 course.
The Series will continue with two more out-of-town events this week before next Monday’s tournament at Hillcrest Golf Course.
