The RiverDawgs strung together seven hits, but the lone run came from leadoff man Kirk Liebert in the first inning. Liebert singled and later scored on a hit by Ian Ellis.
Dubois County scored six unearned runs in the fifth inning to stretch their lead to 10-0 and put the game out of reach. They tacked on another run in the sixth and four more in the seventh. The Dawgs drew 10 walks to go along with 13 hits.
Ellis had the only multi-hit day, adding a double in the third inning. He also took the pitching loss, giving up four runs on five hits in four innings.
