DC takes first, locals claim top three spots in Madisonville

The Daviess County boys’ golf team picked up their second win in as many days, with Chris Salamah and Daniel Love taking the top two spots individually Saturday in the Madisonville Invitational at Lakeshore Country Club. Owensboro’s Jack Lashbrook finished third overall.

Salamah was the medalist of the event, finishing with a 2-under 70. Love shot 72 for second place. Rounding out the scoring for Daviess County (304) were Brady Huckleberry (80) and Nick Johnson (82).

Lashbrook shot 75, going 1-under on the front, to lead Owensboro to an overall round of 370. Also scoring for the Red Devils were Andrew Chancellor (93), James Rhineburger (97) and Lucas Lyons (105).

Owensboro Catholic also compete in the event but scores were unavailable.
