Both the Owensboro and Apollo girls’ soccer teams lost their contests on the road Thursday night.
In the Lady Devils 6-5 loss to Lyon County (1-1), every goal and assist for Owensboro (0-2) came from a different player. Ella Bratcher, JaNyiah Wimberly, Abby Beck, Evie Pierson and Abby Warren each scored, while assists came from Hadley Duvall, Maddie Clouse, Evie Pierson and Rylee Cox.
Owensboro plays again Tuesday with their home opener at 7 p.m. against Apollo.
Apollo (0-2) lost 10-0 and were outshot 25-2 by Caldwell County (2-0). The E-Gals will play their home opener Saturday at 6:45 p.m. against Hopkinsville.
