After opening the season with a tournament in Nashville, the Kentucky Wesleyan women’s basketball team will put their 17-game home win streak on the line in mid-November. The full 2019-20 schedule for the Panthers was released Wednesday.

Wesleyan will play a pair of exhibition contests to start the year, facing Western Kentucky Oct. 31 before traveling to Austin Peay on Nov. 5.

The regular season will open in Nashville for the second consecutive year, as the Panthers will take on Rockhurst and Missouri S&T in the Pops Duncan Classic on Nov. 8 and 9.

Wesleyan will then return to the Sportscenter for the home opener on Nov. 13 against Oakland City. The Panthers will also have matchups at Illinois Springfield and against Missouri-St. Louis in the non-conference portion of the schedule.

The Great Midwest opener is slated for Dec. 5 against Ohio Dominican, and continues Dec. 7 against Tiffin. Both G-MAC games comes in the midst of a nine-game homestand that will take the Panthers into the 2020.

In January Wesleyan will travel to North Canton, Ohio, for games against Walsh and Malone. Both Walsh and Wesleyan represented the Great Midwest in the NCAA Tournament last season.

Findlay and Hillsdale will make a return trip to the Sportscenter on Feb. 6 and Feb. 8.

The final scheduled home game of the season will take place on Feb. 25 against Salem, and the regular season finale will be on Feb. 9 at Tiffin.

Altogether, the Panthers will play 16 home games against 12 road contests.

The Panthers finished 24-8 in 2018-19 with a 16-0 mark at the Sportscenter. Wesleyan went 18-4 in Great Midwest action. The Panthers were upended by No.1 Drury in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in March.
