TUESDAY’S ACTION:
• Fusco scores 4 goals in Aces’ road win
• Last-minute goal lifts Colonels past Red Devils


FUSCO SCORES 4 GOALS IN ACES’ ROAD WIN
Owensboro Catholic (3-2) used four goals and an assist from Joe Fusco to pick up a 6-2 win on the road at Hopkins County Central.

Lance Dickens and Cole Blandford added one goal each. Austin Martin and Dickens each had two assists, and Luke Payne had one. Landon Reffitt had two saves in goal.

The Aces are back in action Thursday with a road contest at Owensboro.


LAST-MINUTE GOAL LIFTS COLONELS PAST RED DEVILS
Owensboro (3-3-1) suffered a narrow loss at Henderson County after the Colonels scored on a penalty kick with 16 seconds left in the game. After each of Henderson County’s first three goals, the Red Devils scored the equalizer less than 10 minutes later.

The first OHS goal came from Kevin Payne with an assist from Grayson McFarland. Hser Thaw scored unassisted, and Andrew Saltsman set up Josh Head for the final goal. Radley Worth had 11 saves in goal.

The Red Devils will play their home opener Thursday when they host Owensboro Catholic.
