• Daviess County tops Lady Colonels on road
• Lady Aces suffer narrow loss to Ohio County
DAVIESS COUNTY TOPS LADY COLONELS ON ROAD
Chloe Hinchcliffe scored a pair of goals and Kenlee Newcom added one of her own as the Lady Panthers (8-1) picked up a 3-1 victory at Henderson County. Hinchcliffe and Newcom have now scored four goals each this week.
Assists came from Meredith Campbell and Tori Beth Baylis. Emma Patterson had four saves in goal.
Daviess County returns to action Tuesday at Owensboro.
LADY ACES SUFFER NARROW LOSS TO OHIO COUNTY
Owensboro Catholic (2-2-1) wasn’t able to capitalize on their chances in a 5-4 home loss to Ohio County. The Lady Aces had 20 shots on goal, while the Lady Eagles had only seven.
Lily Moore had two goals and an assist to lead the Catholic offense. Kara Morris and Ashton Logsdon each added a goal, while Emmy Moore and Maddie Hayden had an assist each.
The Lady Aces play again Tuesday with a short trip to Apollo.
