DC goes 2-3 in Taylor County tournament

The Daviess County volleyball team posted a 2-3 record over the weekend in the Taylor County Throw-Down.

The Lady Panthers beat John Hardin 2-0 (25-19, 25-18) and topped Marion County 2-1 (25-22, 23-25,  15-12). They dropped matches in straight sets to Pulaski (25-22, 25-21), Frederick Douglas (25-13, 25-19) and Allen County Scottsville (25-18, 25-16).

Leading the effort for DC during the tournament were Hannah Axley (48 assists, 19 Digs), Ryann Keller (36 assists, 4 blocks), Kinsley Phelps (21 kills, 8 Digs, 7 blocks), Kendal Goetz (4 aces, 50 digs, 3 kills),  Kloee Phelps (5 aces, 33 digs, 11 kills) and Ashton Johnson (18 digs, 21 kills, 3 blocks ).

Also contributing were Chea Bowers (30 digs), Elizabeth Moore (4 digs, 25 kills, 3 blocks), Jasmine Beasley (5 digs, 8 kills, 7 blocks), Kayla Clark (19 digs) and Delaney Evans (2 aces, 11 digs).
