This week’s Owensboro Times basketball honors go to Daviess County’s Ryan Thomson and Trinity’s Cassidy Morris after each received the most votes in their respective weekly poll.
Thomson, a senior for the Panthers, is the Boys’ Player of the Week after averaging 13.5 points in two games.
Morris, a sophomore for the Lady Raiders, is the Girls’ Player of the Week after averaging 20 points in two games.
Note: Next week’s Basketball Player of the Week polls will open Monday morning and run through Wednesday at 5 p.m. This week’s winners will not be eligible for nomination.
