Balanced E-Gals rout Christian County

Apollo used another balanced attack Saturday en route to a dominant 76-54 home win over Christian County. In addition to scoring the most points in any of their games so far this season, the E-Gals also broke the program’s single-game assist record with 19.

In what’s become a full team effort each game, Apollo (15-6) once again got contributions from all over the court.

Amber Dunn kept her season-long double-double average alive with 13 points and 11 rebounds, also adding five assists and pair of steals. Amaya Curry dished out eight assists to go along with 12 points, four rebounds and three steals.

Kassidy Daugherty posted a team-high 14 points and Shelbie Beatty scored 11, while Zoe Floyd and Addison Carter added eight each. Amari Sanders (6), Brylee Rhodes (2) and Janaya Douglas (2) rounded out the scoring.

Carter finished with six rebounds and Floyd had four, while Daugherty and Beatty had three each. Floyd and Daugherty also had two assists each.
