MONDAY’S ACTION:
• E-Gals use hot start, top Lady Mustangs
• Mewes leads Lady Panthers in win
• Lady Raiders pull away in second half
• Eagles dominant late in home win
• Raiders roll to road victory
• Aces fall short at Central Hardin


E-GALS USE HOT START, TOP LADY MUSTANGS
Kassidy Daugherty scored 20 points and Amber Dunn had 20 rebounds, while Apollo (18-6) used a hot start to power past Muhlenberg County 67-56 at home.

After taking a 20-5 lead through the first quarter, the E-Gals had to fend off a fierce comeback effort by the Lady Mustangs, who trimmed the deficit to single digits in the final period.

Shelbie Beatty added 12 points and Dunn had seven. Amaya Curry, Zoe Floyd and Addison carter each scored eight, while Amari Sanders added four.


MEWES LEADS LADY PANTHERS IN WIN
Katie Mewes had a game-high 18 points, helping Daviess County (10-14) get past Warren Central 39-25 in a low-scoring victory on the road. Mewes had 14 in the first half to give the Lady Panthers a 22-11 advantage at the midpoint.

Other scoring for DC came from Adylan Ayer (9), Emma Anderson (5), CJ Paige (3), Shea Mason (2) and Brooklyn Daugherty (2).


LADY RAIDERS PULL AWAY IN SECOND HALF
Trinity (10-14) used a strong second half to pull away for a 65-45 victory at Frederick Fraize. After trailing by one at the half, they went in front 48-37 by the end of the third quarter.

Josie Aull and Morgan Kinsey each scored 17 points, while Cassidy Morris added 16. Katherine Hibbitt had seven points, and Hadley Hatfield, Madison McDaniel, Allie Graham and Maddie Logsdon scored two each.


EAGLES DOMINANT LATE IN HOME WIN
Apollo (5-20) held a slim lead most of the night then used a dominant fourth quarter to pull away for a 71-49 home victory over Hancock County. The Eagles carried a seven-point lead into the fourth, then outscored the Hornets 23-8 the rest of the way.

Malik Wilson scored a game-high 21 points, while Cameron Frantz added 12 and Dan St. Claire had 10. Also contributing were Jamen Kinison (9), Landon Hamilton (8), Ryan Ash (6), Jai Rowan (3) and Evan Deaton (2).


RAIDERS ROLL TO ROAD VICTORY
Twelve players scored and Trinity (9-17) used a hot start to roll past Frederick Fraize 66-46 on the road. The Raiders led 20-9 after the first quarter and 42-16 at the half.

Landon Huff led the effort with 17 points and Kevin Foster had 12. Also scoring were Will Edge (7), Landon Hall (6), Cade Mills (5), Landon Smith (4), Gavin Howard (4), Ethan Howard (3), Nathan Hernandez (3), Elijah Boarman (2), Denver Dickens (2) Ben Goetz (1).


ACES FALL SHORT AT CENTRAL HARDIN
Owensboro Catholic (16-9) fell behind early and weren’t able to come all the way back in a 60-53 loss at Central Hardin. The Acdes trailed 24-12 after the first but cut the deficit to seven by halftime.

Brian Griffith led with 19 points and Ji Webb had 12. Gray Weaver and Luke Scales each added five, while Andrew Riney, Drew Hartz and Sam McFarland scored four each.
