Darrell Waltrip is returning to the track Sunday at the Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta to give the invocation with his wife Stevie.
Waltrip will join Cincinnati Reds star Joey Votto for the pre-race festivities, as Votto will announce for the drivers to start their engines when the race starts at 1:30 p.m. CST.
The Owensboro native competed in more than 800 races during his nearly 30-year career on the track with 84 wins and 390 top-10 finishes.
