Nearly 30 years after he dominated the hardwood at Apollo High School, former Eagle standout Arlando Johnson will be inducted into the Eastern Kentucky University Athletics Hall of Fame for the class of 2020.

Johnson was a Colonel from 1991-95 and was named All-Ohio Valley Conference his junior season while averaging 18.2 points per game during his senior year where he was named to the All-OVC Second Team.

He’s sixth all-time on EKU’s scoring list with 1,617 points and he had 393 assists (fifth on the all-time list), a .403 three-point percentage (12th), 153 steals (9th) and a free-throw percentage of 85.9 percent (2nd).

Johnson will join the hall of fame in a ceremony on Oct. 3 and also later that evening when the Colonels take on the University of Tennessee-Martin on the gridiron.
