This is a Brescia Athletics press release:

The Brescia Men’s Soccer Program picked up right where they left off from a year ago with its community service projects. Just a few months ago the team was selected as the Team of Character Winner for the River States Conference for their community service efforts in 2019.

“Getting out in the community, and seeing the lives we get to touch is rewarding enough,” Head Coach Cameron Williams said.

On Tuesday, the Brescia men’s soccer team stepped up in a big way to help lend a hand to the Tri-State Food Bank. They prepared boxes of food to deliver to local people’s homes within the Owensboro community. Each home received three boxes which included dairy, dry goods and produce.

“The food drive was a great experience to give back to the Owensboro Community. It was eye-opening, and the opportunity allowed me to meet and help some lovely people. I’m glad that we were able to take part,” senior captain Antony Reilly said.
