Grayson County 58, Trinity 54
Trinity led most of the game Friday night against the Cougars of Grayson County but they couldn’t wrap the game up as GC grabbed the home victory.
The Cougars won the matchup 58-54 and were led by 15 points from River Blanton.
Trinity led 24-22 after the first quarter and led by three to start the fourth before Keegan Sharp scored 8 of his 14 points in the frame for the Cougars to help get the win. Chandler McCrady also finished in double digits for GC with 14 points.
Landon Huff led the Raiders with 16 points as he hit three 3-pointers with the rest of his points coming at the charity stripe. Brady Wright also finished in double figures with 15 points while Denver Dickens added 14 in the loss for Trinity.
THS (1-3) plays at 4:30 p.m. today on the road at Crittenden County.

Daviess County 60, Holy Cross 33
The Daviess County Lady Panthers hit the road Friday for a matchup with Holy Cross in Louisville as DC had big games from multiple players in the blowout win.
The Lady Panthers cruised 60-33 for the victory behind 25 points from Ella Payne.
Payne hit 5 3-pointers in the game and had 16 points in the second half.
“She stepped up in a big way for us tonight,” DC coach John Kirkpatrick said. “We’ve always known she has the ability to do that. She’s very explosive and we will need more moving forward.”
Adylan Ayer also finished in double digits with 13 points on 3 3-pointers for the Panthers.
Daviess County hosts Trinity Monday.
Grayson County 51, Trinity 37
The Grayson County Lady Cougars took down Trinity Thursday for their fourth-straight victory after dropping their first four games of the season.
The Lady Raiders couldn’t close the gap in the game as Grayson won the matchup 51-37.
Trinity plays Monday against Daviess County.
