Registration for the Owensboro Thoroughbreds new Confidence League ends today with hoopers from around the area giving back to the next generation.
The league begins March 6 and is $80 per athlete.
The competition will run for five weeks and there will be four divisions with eight teams per division and four athletes per team. Games will be on the weekend and there will be eight contests plus a playoff at the end of the regular season.
The divisions are 1st/2nd grade, 3rd/4th grade, 5th/6th grade and 7th/8th grade.
Current Thoroughbred Corey Wilford is coaching in the league along with former area players Mikayla Berry, Hunter Noffsinger, Evan Milligan and J’Nayah Hill.
