This week’s Owensboro Times baseball and softball honors go to Owensboro’s Blake Kimbrell and Owensboro Catholic’s Bailey Hamilton after each received the most votes in their respective weekly poll.
Kimbrell, an 8th grader for the Red Devils, is the Baseball Player of the Week after he hit .500 with a double, 2 RBIs and 2 runs in 2 games for Owensboro last week.
Hamilton, a sophomore for the Lady Aces, is the Softball Player of the Week after she hit .454 with a home run, a double, 4 RBIs and 2 runs in 3 games for Catholic last week.
