The Apollo E-gals fell to Butler County to start their day but bounced back for their first win of the season when they beat Meade County 7-5.
The Lady bears beat Apollo 19-1 but found their footing against the Lady Wave for the victory.
Against Butler County, Morgan Frizzell and Ashleigh Howard had the only hits for the E-gals while Delaney Cameron added the lone RBI.
Against Meade County, Frizzell and K’Asia each had three hits while Sydney Saalwaechter added three RBIs in the win. Emmie Bullington finished with a double, two RBIs and two runs.
Apollo plays Monday at Owensboro Catholic.
Jasper (Ind.) 7, Daviess County 1
The Daviess County Lady Panthers had their six-game winning streak snapped Saturday when they fell to Jasper (Ind.) at home.
DC fell behind 4-0 after the third inning and didn’t score until the bottom of the sixth in the 7-1 Jasper win.
Jessie Daniels and Katie Mewes each had two hits while Raylee Roby had the only RBI for DC that score Seana Leibfried.
Daviess County plays Thursday at home against Apollo.
