Greenwood 5, Owensboro Catholic 1
Owensboro Catholic was handed it second loss of the season when the Lady Aces went south to take on the Greenwood Lady Gators.
Catholic only had one hit in the game as Greenwood scored five runs in the third for the 5-1 victory.
Hannah Carter hit a solo home run in the top of the sixth for the Lady Aces only run.
Catholic is off until April 8 when it takes on Trinity at Edmonson County in the 3rd Region All “A” Classic Tournament.
