Daviess County and Owensboro Catholic met on the softball field Tuesday and now the tennis court Wednesday as the school foes split their matches.
On the boys’ side, DC beat the Aces 4-1 while the Lady Aces cruised to a 5-0 win on the girls’ side.
For the Panthers, George Hulse, Frank Newton and Eric Holden all earned singles victories while Graham Sandefur and Camden Clark won DC’s doubles match. The duo of Cooper Danzen and Matthew Hyland earn Catholic its only boy’s point of the night.
In the girls’ battle, Ella Carson, Isabelle Reisz and Ella Grace Buckman had singles wins while Aisha Merchant/Olivia Hayden and Sarah Kate Young/Emmy Moore had doubles victories.
