Bearcats men’s and women’s track set high standards in the classroom

The Brescia women’s outdoor track & field team led the River States Conference in total student-athletes who earned Scholar-Athlete recognition.

The Bearcats had 12 athletes represented, two more than the next closest team.

To be named, student-athletes must have a 3.25 grade-point average or higher, have at least two semesters of attendance prior to the current term, participate in an RSC sport and be nominated by their institution.

The following Bearcats earned RSC Scholar-Athlete honors:

The Brescia men’s outdoor track & field team tied for the second most student-athletes who earned Scholar-Athlete recognition in the River States Conference.

The Bearcats had six athletes represented, which tied with Rio Grande for the second most of any team.
