With a field of 87 players, a vast number of local golfers finished with top-5 rankings in the latest round of the GO Junior Series event at Hillcrest Golf Course.
Five golfers from Owensboro earned first place in their respective divisions, while plenty finished in the top-5 as well.
Those that finished atop their division were Willie Bushong (13 in Boys eight-under, three holes), Colby Vanover (28 in Boys 9-10, six holes), Briley Billingsley (32 in Girls 9-10, six holes), Conleigh Osborne (52 in Girls 13-15, 18 holes) and Jax Malone (42 in Boys 13-15 Championship, 18 holes).
Others that had top-5 placements included John Carson Malone, John Yager, Corbin Sims, Hudson Brasher, Cade Kasey, Riley Hayden, Isabeth Osborne, Megan Haynes, Lanie Ann Osborne, Braden Whistle, Grayson Powers, Trevor Cecil, Houston Danzer, John William Wathen and Hannah Robbins.
The GO Junior Series event will pick up where it left off on Thursday, June 24 at Ben Hawes Golf Course.
